Óscar Leal is the Lead Architect at Vodafone Group, bringing over a decade of deep expertise in Customer Premises Equipment (CPE), from hands-on testing to high-level architecture. He is leading Vodafone’s efforts to streamline the adoption of the User Services Platform (USP) across the organization while driving innovation in the Home environment through an app-enabled services strategy built on containerization. His work is also focused on transforming the Vodafone Home Ecosystem by designing unified services that accelerate time to market, simplify management, and reduce product certification costs.

With a career dedicated to collaborating with ISPs around the world, Óscar has contributed to critical areas such as integration, engineering, and certification. His global experience with operators is complemented by his active involvement in shaping industry standards through organizations like the Broadband Forum. Óscar is also a proud member of the prpl Foundation’s board of directors and Co-Chair of the prpl LCM working group.
