Get Certified

Obtaining prplWare Certification confirms your solution’s compliance with prplOS 3.1.0 standards, ensuring it is ready for real-world applications in an ever-evolving networking landscape. prplWare Certification is only available to prpl Foundation members. Here’s how to get certified:

1. Certification Test Tool

Testing must be conducted using the QA Cafe CDRouter certification tool, which enables comprehensive validation of your solution’s compatibility with prplWare standards.

2. Execute the Required Test Plans

To qualify, the solution must successfully pass both the HL-API Test Plan and prplOS Test Plan.

HL-API Test Plan: All tests in this plan must be completed with passing results.

prplOS Test Plan: Completing all mandatory tests with passing results is required (see prpl Wiki for more info on the release of this plan).

3. Demonstrate Component Usage

Certification requires proof that testing has been conducted on the correct prplWare components. This can be done via:

• Video demonstrations
• Access to the components for direct verification
• Code inspection

4. Submit Results for Validation

Once testing is completed, submit your signed test results from CDRouter to the prpl Foundation for review. The prpl Foundation will validate the results and confirm certification. To begin the certification review process, email [email protected]
