MINIM JOINS OPEN-SOURCE INITIATIVE PRPLMESH BY PRPL FOUNDATION

Managed WiFi and IoT security company announces contribution to prplMesh to drive the secure interoperability of connected devices for smart homes

MANCHESTER, NH – (November 14, 2019) – ​Minim​, the cloud-managed WiFi and IoT security platform for smart homes, today announces it has joined the ​prplMesh​ working group in an effort to advance the open-source, carrier-grade, and certifiable implementation of Wi-Fi CERTIFIED EasyMeshTM, the Wi-Fi Alliance’s Multi-AP Specification. Part of a wider collaboration between ​prpl Foundation​ and ​Broadband Forum​, prplMesh promises a baseline for OEMs, software vendors, and broadband service providers to rapidly develop integrated multi-AP products while optimizing their research and development investment for creating differentiating solution value.
