prpl Foundation announces the new edition of the Global prpl Summit 2025 in Paris on October 13th

Open source innovators from across the telco ecosystem will return to the vibrant city of Paris on the 13 October 2025 for the Global prpl Summit 2025, the prpl Foundation has announced today.

The event will bring together industry leaders, open source developers and network architects to share major developments within carrier-grade, open source suites and customer premises equipment (CPE) achieved over the past twelve months. Attendees will hear how prpl solutions are being deployed by major businesses within the sector, including the 12 million AT&T gateways now running prpl Lifecycle Management (prpl LCM).

“We’re excited to bring our Global prpl Summit back to Paris in what has proven to be an exciting year for the prpl Foundation,” said prpl Foundation President Dr. Len Dauphinee. “We look forward to giving those in attendance the chance to learn from real-world deployments and participate in hands-on technical deep dives that cover the most pressing trends within our industry.”

The Summit will be returning to the Palais des Congrès d’Issy les Moulineaux, in the heart of Paris. Building on the previous events, this year’s Summit will welcome more than 400 attendees from across the entire industry, including Operators, SoC manufacturers, App Developers, OEMs, 3rd Party Integrators and SDOs.

A core focus of the agenda will be how open source software and standards-based hardware accelerate time-to-market for next-generation gateways, CPE and carrier-grade edge platforms. Attendees will also explore these benefits through 6 on-stage roundtables and dedicated face-to-face networking sessions.

Live prplWare demonstrations will include prplMesh, prplOS, and prpl LCM being used in networking applications, as well as newly certified prplWare devices. Key discussions will be led by industry leaders from Orange, Verizon, AT&T, MaxLinear, and SoftAtHome, with an array of speakers and  Roundtables highlighting how major operators are scaling open-source LCM across millions of gateways.

Platinum Sponsors include Bitdefender, Calix, Gemtek, Kaon Broadband, Orange, Qualcomm, Sagemcom, SoftAtHome, and Vantiva; while Gold Sponsors are Actiontec, Nokia, Sercomm, ZTE, and ZYXEL. Other sponsors include CUJO AI and Humax Networks.

The Global prpl Summit will feature as many as 40 demonstrations from industry leaders showcasing innovative prpl implementations including: Actiontec, Airties, Arcadyan, Beegol, Bitdefender, Calix, Capgemini, Cognitive, ConsultRed, Cujo AI, Gemtek, GlobalLogic, Huawei, Humax Networks, Inango, KAON, MaxLinear, Nokia, Orange, Qualcomm, Sagemcom, SAM Seamless Network, Sartura, Sercomm, SoftAtHome, Streambow, Tozed Kangwei, TP Link, Vantiva, WNC, Zilogic Systems, Tata Elxsi, ZTE, ZYXEL and others to be confirmed!
